She offers valuable expertise in the implementation of Federal programs at the grantee/State level, with an understanding of cooperative agreements, communications, compliance, and other operational requirements. She currently provides technical support to the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration’s Safety Data Improvement Program, which administers grants to improve State reporting about truck and bus inspections and incidents. She recently co-authored the "2009 Analysis Brief for the Bus Crash Causation Study Report," pursuant to the Motor Carrier Safety Improvement Act. Previously, Ms. Skretta worked on the Econometrica team that documented the 2005 hurricane recovery response provided by the U.S. Office of Housing and Urban Development to assist displaced households. Ms. Skretta earned a B.A. in Comparative Literature (with a Certificate in Culture, Health and Science) from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. Since 2007, she has been taking graduate-level courses in health policy, working towards a M.P.P. at that institution.
