OUR STAFFArnold N. SchwartzArnold Schwartz is a distinguished economist who has developed economic models to analyze emerging national issues and develop policy and regulations — primarily for the White House, the Federal Aviation Administration, and the Center for Naval Analyses. As a senior economist in the White House Office of Management and Budget and the Office of National Drug Control Policy, he assisted in policy and budget decisionmaking on a wide range of issues for various Federal agencies. His core competencies include directing and conducting economic and statistical studies and developing statistical, econometric, and operations research models that have been used to develop policies, programs, and cost-benefit analyses. He is currently applying this expertise by supporting Econometrica’s development and evaluation of Federal programs, policies, regulations, and plans. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics, Statistics, and Operations Research, an M.B.A. in Statistics, and a B.S. in Statistics and Economics — all from the New York University.
