OUR STAFF

Evelyn S. Mathis

Evelyn Mathis has 35 years of professional experience in planning, directing, and implementing national statistical studies in a variety of health care settings. Her work has included data analysis and dissemination, with 23 years of experience as a manager in Federal Government agencies. She has developed and operated four national health care surveys and directed an analysis program that produced published reports on the use of health care services. She has conducted and directed research projects in long-term care, health manpower, and family planning. Ms. Mathis received a B.S. degree in Mathematics from South Carolina State University in 1961 and has completed graduate courses in Statistics at George Washington University (1962), in Epidemiology at American University (1965), and in Health Care Administration at the University of Maryland (1994).
