Hortencia Jimenez

Ms. Jimenez offers a strong background in economics and demonstrated work experience in economic and statistical analysis. Currently working on assignment with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, she is retrieving, analyzing, and interpreting data related to the safety of buses and large trucks. Previously, she served as an Economist at the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, analyzing data related to the Consumer Price Index, and as a Statistician at the U.S. Census Bureau, studying the relationship between various national policies and identified demographic groups. Ms. Jimenez is proficient in statistical software packages, including SAS, as well as a wide range of database management and business-related applications. She holds a B.S. in Economics and Mathematics from the Dominican University in Illinois.
