Louise Fickel

Ms. Fickel is an experienced communications manager with more than 20 years of experience in marketing, public relations, corporate communications, and journalism. Since 2007, Ms. Fickel has served as Communications Team Lead for the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration’s Office of Information Technology, where she is responsible for developing its strategic communication plan, providing guidance to senior leadership, and managing a team that creates messaging for multiple channels, as well as recurring publications. Previously, Ms. Fickel led the editorial operations for a $3-billion global management firm—her department’s work reached widespread prominence through the company’s Web site, marketing collateral, advertising, and public relations efforts. Ms. Fickel holds a B.A. in English from Rice University.
