by CDBG grantees The Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program
is one of HUD’s
largest and most flexible sources of community-focused funding. It enables
communities across the country to undertake a wide array of housing,
economic development, community development, and public-services projects.
Many CDBG grantees look to nonprofit organizations, along with other
public organizations, to implement and mange their CDBG activities. These
organizations are known as “subrecipients.”
