HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT

Econometrica brings economists and analysts with years of experience in housing and urban planning, including mortgage financing and loan amortization, voucher programs issues and Community Development Block Grants. We have been at the forefront in helping the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development provide short-term housing for people left homeless by Hurricane Katrina. Other work for HUD includes developing Web-based tracking tools, analysis of databases to identify trends, and assessing the quality and cost-effectiveness of a broad range of programs.
