Energy Information Administration

Under subcontract to Abacus Technology Corporation, Econometrica is providing support to the U.S. Department of Energy/Energy Information Administration (EIA). The specific areas of support provided to EIA under this contract are: (1) information management and product production, consisting of: (a) data operation (survey data collection, survey and data systems operations; frames, samples, and survey response; sampling and estimation; data integration and analysis; quality assurance and control activities; disclosure avoidance techniques; resolving reporting discrepancies; and accounting/ auditing/systems assessment and evaluation services); (b) data integration (acquiring and developing data; maintaining integrated databases; performing consistency and quality tests; calculating summary statistics; and other general requirements, such as reports and documentation); and (c) product production; and (2) information technology , consisting of: (a) information technology strategic planning; (b) data and applications support; (c) hardware/software infrastructure; (d) technical support; and (e) other information technology/management requirements.
