PROJECT MANAGEMENT

ECONOMETRICA's management is organized to closely monitor contract progress and cost. Our management structure vests maximum authority in our field managers, while providing corporate oversight to ensure that projects conclude on time and within budget. Econometrica performs all accounting functions in strict accordance with Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) procedures.

Our approach to project management begins with client relationships. Each client becomes an integral part of the project team to ensure that emphasis is given to unique needs. Such client involvement-particularly when objectives, strategies, and analyses are being developed-leads to useful, high-quality products. To ensure close executive involvement, every project has regularly scheduled technical review sessions. Our clients become integral members of these sessions. Technical questions, problems, research plans, staffing, costs, and other related considerations receive intense discussion and analysis. In addition, we schedule numerous ad hoc technical review sessions over the course of the project, especially to discuss and review unusually complex issues, problems, and activities that lead to major reports and products. Again, our management generally asks our clients to participate in these reviews.

HISTORY AND LOCATION

ECONOMETRICA was founded in 1998 to answer a growing demand for directed economic and analytical consulting services. Located in the heart of Bethesda, Maryland, within two blocks of the Bethesda Metro station, our offices are just 20 minutes from downtown Washington, DC. Our location enables us to rapidly focus our resources to assist the many organizations and agencies proximate to our Nation's Capital, and provides immediate access to resources unique to the seat of national government.
